In the City - Turning Beer into Food: A Story of a Social Enterpreneur
Wednesday, June 27th, Christensen Center, Augsburg College
This 'In the City' event will be held at Augsburg College's main campus in Minneapolis. Join us for Happy Hour featuring Finnegans Beer, while listening to Jacquie Berglund, Auggie grad, and Finnegans CEO and Co-Founder tell the story of Finnegan's Beer. Finnegan's is the first beer company to give 100 percent of the profits to charity. So far the company has given over a quarter of a million dollars to charities since its inception in 2000!
Among Jacquie's many passions, "she loves going to happy hour, hanging out in the woods and discovering ways to create community wealth." Jacquie never passes on an opportunity to advise others on how to become social entrepreneurs themselves. She attributes her success to a sound business plan, a lot of hard work, and a little Irish luck!
Next, learn how you can earn a graduate certificate in social entrepreneurship or a graduate degree in business (MBA), leadership (MAL), education (MAE) , or nursing (MANursing/DNP). Information sessions on each degree program will last one hour.
Graduate programs are offered in many formats, including weeknights, weekends, hybrid (combination online/on-campus) and low residency. Many programs can be completed in a two year timeframe. Augsburg College's main campus is located "In the City" of Minneapolis.
